La Bastide blanche is a family business specializing in the manufacture and sale of ice cream cakes. At the end of the 19th century, in Provence, ice cream was worth gold. And the establishment run by old Amédée Giraud is the envy of Jean Roumisse, an ambitious industrialist and lord of Signes, a village near Avignon. The old freezer is counting on his son Justin, who is finally returning to the country after seven years in the army, to take over the business, which he runs while respecting traditions.
