Overview
During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, Hu Xueyan, a clerk at "Xinhe Bank" in Hangzhou, came to "Crazy Xu" on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival to ask for an account. Unexpectedly, the desperate "Crazy Xu" committed suicide. Hu Xueyan sympathized with the lonely "Crazy Xu" and took care of his funeral. However, people misunderstood that he had forced "Crazy Xu" to death; the leader of the Cao Gang, Miss Qi, had been beholden to "Crazy Xu" and wanted to be called "Crazy Xu" after hearing the news. To take revenge, he caught Hu Xueyan and was about to throw him into the lake. The boatman girl Luo Si saw it and asked someone to rescue Hu Xueyan and explained the truth to the seventh girl. The seventh girl regretted her behavior, apologized to Hu Xueyan and paid back the five hundred taels of silver from "Xinhe Bank" on behalf of "Crazy Xu".
