During the Chenghua period of the mid-Ming Dynasty, Li Xunhuan, a versatile civil and military man who was tired of the worldly officialdom, was rescued by martial arts master Long Xiaoyun when he was in danger, and the two became sworn brothers. Li Xunhuan and Lin Shiyin were married from childhood and fell in love with each other. However, Long Xiaoyun fell in love with his adopted brother's wife and fiercely fought for Li Xunhuan's love. Later, Li Xunhuan was involved in the case of the missing prince-consort, and confronted Shangguan Jinhong, the leader of the Money Gang. During this period, he met Yang Yan, the fairy of Jinghong, and fell in love, but it still ended in tragedy.
