After successfully piloting as a 'Original Drama Short', My Jihad returns for a full series. The show follows a love story set in contemporary Britain, as a young Muslim couple fall for one another.

When Nazir and Fahmida clash at a speed dating night they couldn't be more different. Can a chance meeting on the bus home lead to a potentially beautiful friendship?

Fahmida and Nazir go on their first date. Excitement and nerves give way to tension when Nazir starts to suspect Fahmida is embarrassed by him. What becomes clear is that while Nazir is already convinced she's the woman for him, Fahmida's past experiences have made her cautious. And it's not just herself she has to worry about. She has a 6-year-old son, Ismail, and she has to put him first. Can Nazir convince her that he's serious about committing to them both?

Nazir and Fahmida tell their parents they want to get married, but does Nazir have what it takes to become a husband and a father? After seeking advice from his local Imam, Nazir sets about proving himself by finding a job at any cost but will it be enough for Fahmida?

There's one final hitch in Nazir and Fahmida's plan to get hitched; Nazir's parents don't approve. Can the couple persuade them to change their minds? Could Nazir go against their wishes and get married anyway? Unsure what to do, Nazir seeks guidance from his Imam on whether he can have what he wants and still be a good Muslim. Can love conquer all for Fahmida and Nazir?
