Overview
"Journey to the West" is a costume fantasy drama produced by Ciwen Media Co., Ltd., with Zhang Jizhong as the chief producer, Zhang Jianya as the director, starring Wu Yue, Nie Yuan, Zang Jinsheng, and Xu Jinjiang, and co-starring Liu Tao, Hou Jingjian, Jing Gangshan, and Hu Ke. The play is adapted from Wu Chengen's mythological novel "Journey to the West". The play tells the story of Tang Monk, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, four masters and apprentices on their journey to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures. The four people work together to deal with it and embark on an arduous journey to learn from it.
