Overview
In 1945, the suffering Chinese people won the Anti-Japanese War. Long-lost smiles appeared on people's faces. They had not thought at this time that their fate would also fluctuate with the waves of the times. On the beach ten miles away, the situation is changing and the neon lights are shining. The men and women continue to sing, dance and make love, lingering in the fragrance of love. Merited pilot Tang Teng (played by Gao Yunxiang) meets female middle school student Shen Ying (played by Tang Yuhong) because of his cousin Meng Dai. They are talented and beautiful, and they get closer and closer; Xiaoying's beautiful figure attracts cheongsam tailor Lu Xiaomao (played by Tse Junhao), who devotes all his efforts to tailoring the most dazzling costumes for the goddess. Not long after, the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party broke out. The beautiful woman Ji Wen (played by Sun Li) rescued Tang Teng, who was in danger, while Xiaoying, who wanted to marry Tang Teng, stayed in turbulent Shanghai. Men and women burn their love in the most chaotic era...
