Ex-sailor Nils Petter Möller is a widower after his missing Signe, but the dog Calle keeps his spirits up while he performs his duties as a property manager at Solgatan 16. It is orderly, he sweeps the yard every Friday (whether it rains or not). But every now and then figures like Skogan, Danskdödaren and sneaky hairdresser Jonasson draw Möller into events that he cannot really control.
