Overview
"Irresistible" is an urban love drama jointly produced by the Capital Artists Association and Hubei TV Drama Production Center, directed by Wang Xiaokang, written by Wang Jingru, and starring Shao Bing, Juanzi, Wang Kun and others. The play tells the story of Pei Xinyi and Zhu Dake, who got married and divorced in a flash, but found out that they were pregnant after the divorce. Xinyi decided to give birth to a child despite the opposition of her family. During the dispute, the father got into a car accident, which led to the further spread of the tragedy. The drama premiered on the Hangzhou TV Film and Television Channel in 2007. As of January 11, 2008, the drama ranked first among evening prime-time TV dramas in Hangzhou, with an average rating of 4.4. On May 4, 2008, it landed on three satellite TV stations in Liaoning, Shenzhen and Guangxi.
