Overview
1927, Wuhan. The first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party broke down, and the reactionary military and police set up a dragnet to search for a six-year-old boy named Jinbao who had hidden clues. Ning Guangdong, a waitress in the restaurant, made a difficult decision and took the risk of adopting the orphan of the Communists. In order to protect Jinbao, she repeatedly fell into desperate situations. Relying on her unyielding will, she saved the day with the help of her lover, the Communists Xiao Bo and Xiao Bailong. She also assisted Xiaobo to find out the clues hidden in Jinbao, and uncovered the shocking conspiracy of the Japanese to invade China. Ning Guangdong worked hard to raise Jinbao. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Jinbao joined the Kuomintang, and Ning Guangdong became the scapegoat for the Kuomintang's political conspiracy due to a murder case. It was Jin Bao who was responsible for judging her. After Xiaobo's careful investigation and evidence collection, Jinbao understood the true nature of the Kuomintang's fake peace talks and the real civil war, reunited with his mother, and moved towards the light. Ning Guangdong and Xiao Bo finally sacrificed their lives to prevent the reactionaries from more dastardly plots.
