Overview
In the 1990s, Wang Laobing and his ten-year-old only son Wang Jiakuan ran a photo studio in Changqing Lane, Nanping. By chance, Wang Jiakuan became deaf. Wang Laobing tried his best to treat his son's ear disease, but his son's ear disease did not improve. Jiakuan became obsessed with photography and climbed up to the Ideal Building all day long to take pictures of the sunset. One night, Wang Laobing accidentally fell into a lime pond in search of Wang Jiakuan, and his eyes were burned and he became blind. Wang Laobing's greatest ideal is to find a healthy partner for Wang Jiakuan, hoping to return to normal life. The mute Cai Yuzhen came to Changqing Lane in search of her brother Cai Yucheng, who was a migrant worker, and was taken in by the kind-hearted Wang Jiakuan and Wang Laobing. Cai Yuzhen won the trust of the Wang family with her hard work and intelligence, and became a member of the photo studio. From then on, the three used each other's healthy organs to live and work harmoniously, and ran the photo studio in an orderly manner. Wang Jiakuan and Cai Yuzhen gradually developed feelings and eventually got married.
