In Shanghai in 1930, the gangster Xiao En (played by Wang Xuebing), the singer Yin Xueyan (played by Wang Ying), the female reporter Yuan Jiayi (played by Hu Die), and the police chief Gu Xiongfei (played by Niu Qingfeng) were entangled due to a murder case. It turns out that Tong Yuanshan rebelled and surrendered to the enemy on the eve of the Revolution of 1911, killing Xiao En's father. After the victory of the revolution, he stole the name of a hero. Under the raging flames of fame and fortune, in the concrete forest of Shanghai, four young people also faced emotional choices and the test of love and hate. In the end, they saved the Chinese treasures with their blood and lives.
