During the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che sent Zhang Qian as an envoy to the Western Regions to open up the land Silk Road. Many years later, Liu Che made the strategic decision to open up the Maritime Silk Road. Faced with many obstacles, a little-known young man was easily appointed to serve as the envoy of the Han Dynasty. Various forces in the court, headed by Liu Tailiang and Tu Liumen, fought repeatedly around this new national strategy for different purposes, and Yi Buquan was also involved in their frequent confrontations.
