In the unique and inimitable setting of the city of Palermo, the Corsaro brothers move. Fabrizio is a black journalist, Roberto is a criminal lawyer: for this reason they often find themselves forced to work on the same case. Impulsive and libertine Fabrizio, precise and calm Roberto, despite the constant bickering, will be able to solve even the most difficult of mysteries.

Fabrizio's suspicious movements make him the main suspect in Palillo's death and the journalist ends up in prison. For Roberto - waiting for Monica to give birth - a race against time begins to discover the real culprit and free his brother.
