Meanwhile, Max receives evidence that the cartel has kidnapped his girlfriend Laetitia and he must take the statues all the way to Marrakech if he is to save her.
Max and JJ are forced to try and secure safe passage to Marrakech through Syria, a country that hides a troubled past for one of them. Meanwhile, Cassie's former CIA colleague Mark Ellis lands in Syria to help her catch the two fugitives.
