Overview
103 bodyguards and priceless jewelry disappeared overnight. Lu Xiaofeng was entrusted by Prince Taiping to find the whereabouts of jewelry on an island, and became obsessed with the island owner's concubine Shaman (played by Lin Meizhen). The island owner Gong Jiu (played by Yu Rongguang) vowed that Lu Xiaofeng's life would be worse than death. Lu Xiaofeng avoided Gong Jiu's pursuit and asked Ximen Chuixue for help. It was eventually discovered that Gong Jiu was Prince Taiping, and he turned out to be a chess piece placed in the palace by Wu Ming (played by Chen Maolin), a descendant of the Fusang Kingdom, in order to plot to assassinate the emperor and realize the Fusang Kingdom's dream of unifying the Central Plains.
