Overview
Katerina seems to have a strong family... However, she accuses her husband Alexei of treason and rashly files for divorce. Alexei's attempts to prove his innocence and make peace lead nowhere. He leaves the family, and then, desperately missing his family, goes to work in the mountains. Katya is trying to start her life from scratch. She is looked after by her childhood friend Felix, who has long been hopelessly in love with her. Katya tries to forget about Alexei, but soon realizes that this is impossible.
