Overview
The unscrupulous studio owner split a studio into two halves and rented them to two crews for filming. One team shoots action and special effects scenes, and the other team shoots ghost movies. Tsuen Universe, the director of the special effects film, was told by his girlfriend to break up on the first day of filming. He couldn't find the state of filming for a while and lost himself. Just when he was most helpless, Mou Tong, the stand-in for the heroine of the ghost film group, took the initiative to persuade him. The two gave each other short but warm comfort during the more than ten days of filming. Also due to some frequent situations in the studio and crew, many hilarious plots occurred during the period. Just when the two were about to break up, the director finally called for completion. It turns out that the producer wanted to reduce the budget of an action movie and a thriller they planned due to lack of funds. Just when he was facing the danger of suspending production on both films, the director came up with a plan to merge the two films into a love story movie about the director and his female stand-in, called "The Brightest Star in the Universe."
