Overview
Tenpo 11, New Year. Oshino (Ryoko Kuninaka), the only daughter of Musashiya, a pharmaceutical wholesaler in Nihonbashi, tries to carry her critically ill father, Kihei (Eiji Okuda), to her cheating mother, Osono (Kumiko Akiyoshi), who lives in a separate house, but Kihei dies on the way. Oshino gets into an argument with his mother, who is concerned about her father's body, and learns the secret of her birth, telling her that she is an illegitimate child. That night, the separate house caught fire, and the charred bodies of the three people discovered the next day were identified as Kihei, Osono, and Oshino. A year later, Tokiwazu's master Chodayu (Takeharu Kunimoto), who had a relationship with Osono, is murdered, and camellia petals are placed next to him. Yoriki Aoki Sennosuke (Abe Hiroshi) discovers that a mysterious woman is involved in the incident, but a second and third murder incident occurs...
