Overview
The drama is adapted from Liu Ru's novel of the same name. It is my country's first TV drama involving the National People's Congress and is known as "The Emergence of Contemporary Officialdom." The play is based on the Shenyang Mu Ma case, and artistically reproduces the process of Mu Suixin and Ma Xiangdong from prosperity to destruction. In a plot full of ups and downs and full of suspense, the director of the National People's Congress, with the firm and powerful support of the Municipal Party Committee, used the sacred power granted by the country and the people to thwart the mayor's various conspiracies one by one. In the end, justice defeated evil, stirred up turmoil, promoted cleanliness, and punished corruption!
