Overview
During the Republic of China, three brothers with different surnames, Shi Datou, Peng Ermu and Wu Shanhu, were adopted by Shen Jiaqi, a famous gentleman in western Hunan. Ten years later, by chance, the three brothers joined different camps of "the country, the Communist Party, and the bandits". They were successively involved in overt and covert political struggles and became life-and-death rivals. The brothers who once lived together and died together, in the increasingly intensified conflicts, finally came to the day when they cut off their robes and met each other with swords... The Anti-Japanese War broke out. Although the old grievances were like mountains, in the face of national justice, the three brothers who had sworn off their grievances stood together again. They each led their troops to form the Anti-Japanese Hunan Army. At the critical moment of the "Battle of Songhu", they went to Hangzhou Bay. With crude weapons, they fought to the death with the Japanese invaders. With their blood and lives, they built the majestic Great Wall of flesh and blood...
