Overview
"In the Mood for Mom" is an urban family ethics TV series. Directed by director Yu Chun, starring Song Dandan, Lin Yongjian, Wang Tong, Yang Ziyan, Zhou Dongqi, Fu Jia, Zhou Xiaobin, Batu, Yishan, Wang Ling, Zhang Hongjie, Mo Qi, Yang Qing, Tan Kai, and Tan Songyun. It mainly tells the story of Wenying, a 69-year-old elementary school teacher who finally retired, but her life after retirement was not as leisurely as she imagined. The four children have their own troubles in life, and Wenying was told during a hospital examination that she only had the last six months of life left. She made a bucket list, decided to hide it from all her children, and began to follow her list to experience things she had never experienced before. The drama was launched on CCTV 8 on September 3, 2013.
