Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans is a western series set in the 1750's during the French and Indian War in the Hudson Valley. The two main characters were Nat "Hawkeye" Cutler, a scout and first of the "long rifles" and his Indian blood brother Chingachgook, the last living member of the Mohican tribe. Together, they fight to protect settlers against the raiding Huron Indians.
Sandi Lee, a beautiful 20 -year-old girl, attempting to establish a new community in the wilderness in territory granted her by the King. She and her surveyor, young George Washington, are menaced by trappers who feel that these newcomers are threatening their hunting and trapping preserves.
