Overview
In 1978, when "Li Jiaju", an educated youth from Beijing who jumped in the queue in the Northeast, fled to Guangzhou for refuge, he met "A Jing" and "Xi Guangwei" from "Jixiangli". After going through some twists and turns of not knowing each other, everyone came to the educated youth spot known as "Heaven Wai". There was no hint of paradise there. Everyone discussed escaping to Hong Kong, but failed every time. Until the national college entrance examination was resumed and Jiaju and others were admitted to university, Ajing also became a small self-employed trader and became the first group of people to "eat crabs". Xi Guangwei survived various scams and earned his first pot of gold in the early days of reform and opening up. Li Jiaju, who was already a civil servant, was dissatisfied with the lack of people in the system. He resigned from the public office and devoted himself to the tide of reform and opening up, and went into business. But just as their lives gradually improved, a disaster befell them again. Where will they go?
