An international team of four former French Resistance fighters meet again in the 60s. Despite their age, they vow to stick together and use their skills to avenge the death of one of their own, Claude, and raise the funds to build a hospital in his name. Claude's son Georges, an inspector with the French police, reluctantly helps them in their exploits along the French Riviera.

All the action revolves around a precious jewel. The gem, sought by several criminal organizations, is in serious danger of being easily stolen. To prevent it the Zoo Gang steps in. It is not easy to guard such a jewel, much less when the security schemes that have been laid out are as perfect as in this case. That's why there is only one choice left for the gang: stealing it before others do.
