Overview
In the early 1990s, Huang Wenshi and He Zewen, both talented students in the Department of Economic Management at a prestigious university in Beijing, embraced lofty ideals and were eager to use their own efforts to open the door to success. When they first arrived on Qindao, the two of them tasted the ups and downs of the world, and fell from the top to the bottom of society. A blind accident led them to form a deep friendship with the cynical gangster Qiao Xiaoyu. By chance, the two became the lifesavers of Bai Yingman's beloved daughter, the president of Bai's enterprise. Huang Sanitation entered Bai's family as he wished, but He's mother lost the much-needed surgery money. Differences in life principles caused former friends to part ways. He Zewen left the Bai family to start his own business, but became a thorn in the side of Bai Yingman and Sha Ying, a businessman. The two major tycoons joined forces to attack, and the sudden death of He's mother caused He Zewen to declare bankruptcy. In order to reduce her boyfriend's legal responsibility, Fang Wei took responsibility for the department's fault without authorization and was imprisoned. He Zewen sadly left the business world and disappeared.
