Overview
There is collusion between officials and businessmen in Songjiang City, and confusion between right and wrong. Deputy Chief Qiu of the Police Department is willing to act as a protective umbrella for the sinister businessman Chen Yiwen, and allows the Jishengda Company he runs to engage in various short-selling, deception, and abduction activities. To make matters worse, Chen Yiwen (played by Hou Tianlai)'s younger brother Chen Yilong (played by Zhao Hengxuan) has a gang background and actively acts as his brother's minion, cleaning up anyone who dares to go against the brothers. Jackals, tigers and leopards cover the sky with their hands, making Songjiang City a smoky mess. What is chilling is that under the arrangement of his brother, Chen Yilong put on a police uniform and became even more powerful. He used various shady means to rise up the ranks and became the underworld eldest brother who holds national power, and is extremely popular. In contrast, Wei Tao (played by Ren Chengwei), a lowly police officer from the police station, is not afraid of violence and has an upright attitude. He has repeatedly tracked down the assailant, but inevitably he is resented by the thugs. And the fateful showdown between him and Chen Yilong will eventually begin...
