Overview
Milan, Václav and Jiří have been friends since childhood. Milan goes to the faculty after graduation. Václav fails his graduation and has to live with his father on the farm. Jiří flees across the border to West Germany. Milan is kicked out of school because he dated Jiří's sister Sylva. In order to be re-admitted, he needs a good personnel profile, so he starts driving a tractor on the farm. Jiří returns to the republic as an anti-state agent. During one diversionary event during the harvest, in which Václav and his father are also involved, they are both arrested. Jiří returns to Germany after a successful event. Later, however, he refuses to cooperate with foreign intelligence and is eliminated. Ten years after graduation, the entrants meet and take stock of their lives so far.
