Overview
Long Shaoyu was the only son of Long Wu, a wealthy businessman from Yangzhou during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. He was active and mischievous by nature, but he was also smart and lovable. There is a daughter-in-law Hongmei who is married to her. Although Shaoyu has always been unwilling to accept her as the Long family's wife, she is still deeply devoted to Shaoyu and constantly solves problems for Shaoyu, just like Shaoyu's patron saint. Later, he meets Li Xiangguo, the governor of Liangjiang. Li Xiangyuan, who has a straightforward and cheerful personality, likes to fight against injustices and has a true love for Shaoyu.
