Overview
The detective comedy based on the play by the actor and writer Miroslav Horníček is a funny story from the times when women were elegant, men were gallant and fraudsters were cute. This rather "smiling play" than "exuberant hilarity" contains exactly what is characteristic of most of Horníček's texts - funny and light dialogue, which is a good starting point for successful and grateful acting creations. It takes place roughly in the 1920s in a villa in Sweden. Here the story of the elegant unmarried Matilda (K. Fialová) and her charming niece Kristina (L. Benešová) unfolds. Their settled but expensive life is about to change with the opening of the mysterious will of old Mr. Söderström, Matylda's father and Kristina's grandfather. However, in the play, which does not lack even a light detective plot, the three Alberts play an important role, men whose service to Miss Matilda is only a cover-up maneuver. P. Nárožný, P. Nový and M. Donutil shone in their roles.
