Overview
This work is a biographical work depicting the life of voice actor Nobuyo Oyama. Oyama provided the voice of Doraemon, the main character in the TV anime version of Fujiko F. Fujio's second major work, Doraemon, from 1979 to 2005. The drama depicts the life that Oyama gave dreams and hopes to children through ``Doraemon,'' and the conflict that he faced in between. The movie introduces a passage from Oyama's autobiography, ``I Was Doraemon: 26 Years of Tears and Laughter'' (Shogakukan, 2006, ISBN 978-4-0938-7654-4). At the time of the first production announcement, NHK, various sports newspapers, TV magazines, etc. announced the title as ``We'll Always Be Together ~The Story of Voice Actor Nobuyo Oyama~ (tentative title)''. Most of the music in the movie is original, but the music in the movie ``Doraemon'' (composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi) was mainly used in the roundtable part, and an instrumental version of ``Doraemon's Song'' that was original to the drama was played.
