In the year 20XX, humans used supermagnetic weapons to destroy the Earth's crust, five continents sank to the bottom of the ocean, and civilization was destroyed. 20 years later, a young boy named Conan (Kojiro Kato) lives with his grandfather (Kippei Shiina), who raised him, on the isolated island of Nokosare Island.One day, a mysterious girl, Lana (Yuka Kageyama), washes up on the island. However, Montsouris (Mugi Kadowaki), the deputy director of the administrative bureau from the industrial city of Industria, flies to the island and kidnaps Lana. Conan goes on an adventure on a raft to save Lana. On his travels, he meets Jimsy (Narikawa), a mysterious wild child, and Captain Dice (Shuntaro Miyao), a member of the Industria trade bureau. Meanwhile, Lana's hometown of High Harbor is attacked by soldiers led by Industria's administrative chief Repka (Tomohiko Imai), who is searching for the whereabouts of the genius scientist Dr. Rao (Kippei Shiina). Conan encounters friends, faces hardships to protect the people he cares about, and carves a new future.
